I am a postdoctoral scholar at NC State University working with Prof. Felix (Phil) N. Castellano. My research uses ultrafast spectroscopy to understand and design light-driven transition metal complexes.

I received my Ph.D. from Caltech, where I worked with Prof. Harry B. Gray as an NSF Graduate Research Fellow and Caltech Institute Fellow, studying the the electronic structure and excited-state dynamics of transition metal complexes. During my graduate studies, I received a DOE SCGSR award and interned at SLAC National Accelerator Laboratory, using x-ray absorption spectroscopy techniques with Dr. Amy Cordones-Hahn.

My research interests include inorganic photochemistry, ultrafast spectroscopy, photoinduced charge transfer, and molecular design principles for solar energy conversion and quantum information science.

See the Publications page for more information about my research background, and the Research page to learn more about my passion for light-activated molecular photophysics.
