Teaching

Teaching Assistant at Caltech (Winter 2020 and Winter 2022)

Teaching assistant for Ch153a Advanced Inorganic Chemistry (colloquially “The Harry Gray show”), taught by Harry Gray and Jay Winkler. Students are exposed to advanced-level theory and application of molecular orbital diagrams to vibrational and electronic spectroscopy. I advise students in completing the weekly problem sets through biweekly office hours, grade course assignments, and manage the corresponding Twitter feed to publicize the material of the course to a wider audience.

I received a certificate in STEM teaching through the Caltech Project for Effectice Teaching. For the certificate, I completed formal coursework in best pedagogical practice and worked to apply and refine these skills through documented teaching experiences, with advisement from program directors. Teaching portfolio available upon request.
